Google Calendar Integration
Overview
Firm Chambers offers two-way sync with Google Calendar. Events created in either platform appear in both, keeping your schedule consistent without manual updates.
Step 1: Navigate to Settings
Go to Settings > Integrations > Calendar. You will see options for Google Calendar and Microsoft Outlook.
Step 2: Connect Google Calendar
Click "Connect Google Calendar" and sign in with your Google account. Grant the requested permissions — Firm Chambers needs read and write access to create and sync events.
Step 3: Choose Sync Preferences
Select which calendars to sync. You can sync your primary calendar, specific secondary calendars, or all calendars. Choose whether to sync events from Firm Chambers to Google, from Google to Firm Chambers, or both directions.
Step 4: Verify the Connection
Create a test event in Firm Chambers and check that it appears in Google Calendar within a few minutes. Events linked to cases will include the case reference in the description.
Managing the Connection
You can disconnect or reconfigure the integration at any time from Settings > Integrations. Disconnecting does not delete previously synced events.
Tips
- Court dates and deadlines created against cases sync automatically with the linked calendar.
- Use colour coding in Google Calendar to distinguish Firm Chambers events from personal events.
- If events stop syncing, check that your Google account permissions have not been revoked.
